As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management services. Job Description: As a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Mar Y Sol Mental Health Experts, you will: -Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of patients.-Prescribe and manage medication regimens for patients.-Maintain accurate and complete medical records in a timely manner.-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.-Utilize electronic prescriptions and medical records for efficient patient management. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: -Must hold credentials to prescribe medication (PMHNP, FNP, psychiatric APRN) in Connecticut.-Comfortable working with adults as well as treating adolescents and children.-Strong dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care.-Openness to working in a hybrid model, incorporating both telehealth and in-person appointments.-While we encourage and value your independence, our child and adult psychiatrist maintains an open-door policy, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
