The Property Manager is responsible for maintaining property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises. We are looking for a Property Manager to be responsible for the direct management oversight of assigned residential properties. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction and revenue. Responsibilities: • Contract with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting and refunding security deposits to facilitate smooth move-in and move-out processes• Establish rates by researching local market and calculating costs so pricing is accurate and fair• Show units and generate excitement from prospective tenants to ensure all units are leased in a timely manner• Resolve tenant complaints to satisfaction and in accordance with our high quality of property standards• Collects rent, pays bills, schedules and keeps track of expenditures to help ensure financial goals Qualifications: • Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills• 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience preferred• Great with people– warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office• Able and willing to work both evenings and weekends Compensation: $71,500 yearly About Company: The Slavis Group is a top-ranked real estate team in the Washington DC area, with services provided to clients in DC, MD, VA, and VA.
