The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of insurance litigation experience, a strong background in insurance coverage issues, and preferably some knowledge of bad faith insurance matters.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues related to property and casualty claims.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and legal documents.Assist in deposition preparation and conduct depositions of witnesses, including expert witnesses.Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel.Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on insurance-related matters.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida State Bar; other state bar admissions a plus.2-6 years of experience in insurance litigation, particularly in property and casualty insurance.Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues; familiarity with bad faith insurance issues preferred.Excellent academic credentials with demonstrated writing skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with federal clerkship or state appellate clerkship.Prior experience in handling complex insurance litigation cases.Membership in relevant professional organizations or bar associations.Skills:Legal research and writing proficiency.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
