Project Manager Full Time/Permanent Job Band: 4 The project manager is a key member of Ontario MD’s Project Management Office and is responsible for leading multiple digital health initiatives through various phases of the project lifecycle, from conception (business case, exploration and/or proof-of-concept) to development and testing, as well as deployment and adoption for provincial expansion. Project Managers are expected to bring both business and integration perspectives and acumen. Under the direction of the Manager, PMO, this role: 1. Manages digital health initiatives throughout the project lifecycle: Primary project accountability and the main point of contact for Ontario MD; Responsible for detailed project planning by establishing scope and target deliverables; Develops and delivers project artefacts (e. g. charter, project plan, action/issue/risk logs, status reports); Proactively manages project risks and escalates issues for resolution; Leads/manages internal and partner project resources and activities (e. g. change management, communications, vendor management); Leads/facilitates workshops and stakeholder forums, as required; Monitors project status and provides regular updates to Ontario MD senior leadership, project management office and stakeholders; Coordinates with internal and external partners to develop/continually improve project processes to support various initiatives; and Ensures that all steps from requirement analysis through to implementation, testing, and production are carried out in an optimum way to ensure successful and timely completion of the project. 2. Manages stakeholder relations: Establishes and maintains collaborative and productive stakeholder relationships; Liaises with clients and stakeholders (e. g. project and executive-level resources at Ontario Health, clinician practices, institutions) to explain the benefits, responsibilities and progress associated with products and services; and Creates/delivers.
