Project Manager - Type 535 Filling Machine

Project Manager Type 535 Filling Machine for Bausch Advanced Technologies, Inc. to work at our Clinton, CT location. Review + analyze user requirement specifications (URS) for Type 535 machinery to ensure achievable project [proj] scope. Analyze historical pricing of Type 535 machinery to assist sales set project budget. Create internal technical specification document (ITS) from URS after point of sale to comm key tech specs. Maintain ITS from point of sale to delivery of machine; provide project team with updates; document scope changes. Support supply chain's negotiations with historic data to secure best pricing for mechanical + electric components of Type 535 machinery. Oversee mechanical design phase with internal design reviews to understand functional aspects of each machine + ensure key technology details are agreed upon. Schedule machine release meetings to initiate procurement/manufacture of electrical + mechanical components. Work with supply chain team after machine release to ID + contrast long lead items against establish project milestone plan to avoid bottleneck during assembly + debugging phase. Lead mechanical + electrical assembly team during machine build at client sites to ensure deadlines met + deviations elevated to management. Administer + support debugging phase with detailed schedule, machine meetings, + input from previous Type 535 builds. Coordinate communication with validation engineer + customer to ensure all documentation for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is created + finalized. Create + provide technician summary report after successful FAT to customer service to prepare team for Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Schedule + conduct project review/close out meeting with all project members to review documented non-conformities against machine design + capture machine specific knowledge. Collect/track/analyze financial information thru entirety of proj lifecycle to flag concerns. Review collected financial data against budg to ID opportunities for cost savings in financial report for upper management. Create change order quotes for cust after point of sale with appropriate payment terms + invoicing. Share invoices with cust according to project milestones to ensure cash flow to deliver project. May undergo background checks including motor vehicle check. Attend trade shows. Little domestic travel may be involved. Wage range: $65,000 to $105,000 annually.
