JDP is seeking a Local Project Engineer in Rochester, NY area! The candidate will act as the liaison between Package Engineering, Operations, and R&D to ensure production processes and equipment is effectively and efficiently being used.Responsibilities: Execute and document scale up processesInput all operational cost into an NPI system Communicate and collaborate with all functional groups of the NPI teamsLead cost saving initiatives from concept, quantification through to product realization. Achieve line efficiency through labor reduction & automated packaging solutions.Execute new product capital projects from concept and budgeting to execution and closure.Requirements:Bachelor's degree required - Must be in Mechanical, Industrial or Packaging 5-10 years' Experience in manufacturingAuto CADMicrosoft Project (MSP)Project ManagementContinuous Improvement
