The ideal candidate will have a background in renewable energy, oil gas sectors, or extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the development of renewable and conventional energy projects, including wind, solar, LNG, and nuclear.Negotiate and draft engineering, procurement, and construction agreements (EPC), operations and maintenance agreements (OM), and equipment procurement agreements (EPA).Stay updated on industry trends and changes in project development and finance law.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and colleagues in specialty areas such as tax, regulatory, and real estate.Represent clients in project development matters, including offtake agreements, procurement, and construction.Provide counsel on project finance transactions related to energy projects.Requirements:JD from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC.3-6 years of experience in construction, procurement, and project development.Experience negotiating and drafting EPC, OM, and EPA agreements.Familiarity with renewable energy, energy storage, and power generation technologies.Strong understanding of project finance specific to energy and infrastructure projects.Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with high-profile clients in the renewable energy market.Prior experience in a sophisticated national law firm environment.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.Exposure to a diverse range of high-profile clients and projects.
