Job Description: The Youth ACT Team Program Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the organization's mission by performing a variety of administrative and support tasks. Key Responsibilities: Policy and Procedure Compliance: Function within the guidelines outlined in the employee manual and program manual. Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct. Interdisciplinary Team Support: Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to support clients' overall functioning and help achieve desired outcomes. Liaison Duties: Communicate and coordinate with DSS, schools, and other child and youth collateral contacts. Training and Development: Attend assigned trainings and professional development sessions. Participate in daily team meetings. Administrative Tasks: Perform reception/secretarial activities, including handling phones, messages, scheduling appointments, filing, office organization, and maintaining supplies. Complete and enter client tracking reports and logs into databases. Verify accuracy of patient insurance and demographic information. Assist with health insurance contracting, credentialing, authorizations, verifications, and general inquiries. Perform other necessary tasks to meet the needs and requirements of clients, the program, Hope For Youth, oversight agencies, and other regulatory obligations. Time Allocation: General Secretarial Duties and Scheduling Appointments: 55% Typing and Preparing Reports: 30% Maintaining Various Databases: 10% Staff Meetings/Supervision/Training: 5% Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. One year of experience in general office work, such as secretarial or receptionist duties. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). EHR experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to read and write reports and log entries. Capability to perform tasks involving prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, climb stairs, and reach overhead. Ability to perform repetitive wrist and finger movements. Must have the ability to drive own vehicle as needed.
