Event Professional Security Guards - Full Time, Part Time Century Protective Services is looking for professional security guards to protect our clients' premises, assets, and personnel, at a special event at Belmont Stakes in Saratoga Springs, NY., from June 3rd to 10th. All shifts are available. Former and active law-enforcement and military encouraged to apply. The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report.Seeking professional Security Officer with commercial building experience to staff our Saratoga Springs locations.Candidates should be very presentable, well-spoken, and willing to be part of a team.Clean cut, corporate appearance required. Responsibilities and Duties: Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state/city licensing requirements for Security OfficersMust be comfortable on feet, position requires patrolling.Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.Good organizational skills.Ability to provide high-quality customer service.Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others. Qualifications and Skills: Current New York State Security Guard License (Required)Current New York State Training Certifications (16 HR OJT and/or 8 HR Annual)Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, All shifts available. Pay: From $25 per hour Benefits: Medical (Full-time employees only)Referral ProgramPaid Time Off Schedule: All shifts available.
