Position: Production Director (Central/Tyrone Campus) Primarily Reports To: Tyler Crosson, Lead Pastor Secondarily Reports To: Travis James, Tyrone Campus Pastor Status: Full-Time Position / Exempt Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday. (Friday/Saturday and evenings as needed) Pay Range: $58,000 - $63,000, based on experience Position Summary: The Production Director will oversee all technical and production needs in support of the ministries and campuses at BridgePoint Church. The Production Director will work closely with the Worship Pastor and Teaching Team to oversee and lead the execution of production and visual arts strategies (including graphic design, studio/video production, ProPresenter, lighting design), taking direction from the vision provided by the ministry or campus leader of the event, contributing to that vision through creativity and subject matter expertise.The ideal candidate will exhibit a deep commitment to their faith, possess strong leadership qualities, and demonstrate a genuine care for both people and teams. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise the production staff, contractors and volunteers to collaborate in executing production needs for Sunday and midweek ministry programming. Provide training and support for Tech Directors across campuses Essential Database Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations: Provides consistent leadership in executing production at the Broadcast campus Develop a reproducible strategy to recruit, develop and care for production team volunteers at each campus Oversee tech/production needs across ministry areas and campuses Collaborate in planning and executing production needs for special events and special services in support of the vision of the ministry or campus leader of the event. Support all campuses and ministry areas in production including: set design, video quality, troubleshooting, and repair. Oversee video production and livestream broadcast, ensuring Sunday readiness Works closely with the Worship Pastor and Teaching Team to create cohesive worship experiences with excellence Maintain and inventory all production (stage/visual) equipment across all campuses Implement “set”/stage changes across campuses in collaboration with Teaching Team and other affected ministries Oversees the production budget and the production contractor budget Effectiveness in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills under pressure. Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred. (Extensive ministry experience or certifications may be considered as a substitute for required degree). 6+ years of technical and supervisory / management experience. Vista/ChromaQ lighting console and software (Vista 3) experience. Lighting programming, fixture repair and maintenance experience. ProPresenter Media Software experience. Experience with Haivision Video hardware and applications experience. Experience working with For-A, Blackmagic and Hanabi Video Switchers and applications and Blackmagic/ Canon Cameras and related software applications. Experience working with ClearComm, RTS and Pro intercom communication equipment. Experience with Allen and Heath Audio consoles. Experience with Dante Virtual Sound applications. Strong knowledge of AVL systems and execution in live production. Video editing and/or IT experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time; be able to reach overhead; have full range of mobility in upper and lower body. Have average to above average visual and auditory acuity as it relates to AVL Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions. Climb stairs and ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on extension ladders or on a mechanical lift). Repeat various motions with the arms, wrists, hands and fingers with acute dexterity Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally to complete assigned job tasks. Maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
