Day shiftPay $50,000-70,000 annuallyLocation: Paris, TNThe Process Quality Engineer position is responsible for working with operations to develop processes to ensure quality is met. This position troubleshoots problems with production and takes corrective action. The Process Quality Engineer will improve the processes by using problem solving techniques and will lead scrap management activities in the plant. Qualification & Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in engineering * 1-3 years Manufacturing experience required, automotive experience preferred * Attention to detail and organized * Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Computer literacy skills * Ability to work well as a team and interact with different groups of people * APQP knowledge * PPAP knowledge * PFMEA knowledge * MSA knowledge * SPC knowledge * 8D knowledge Job Description * To lead the scrap management activities in the plant. * To improve the processes by using problem solving techniques. * To lead the 8D/QRQC studies for scrap and internal claims. * To lead the incoming and technical inspection activities. * To manage supplier non-conformities * To approve supplier PPAPs * To accurately update documentation to reflect current operational procedures * Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor
