Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst - Level 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will based out of either the Magna, UT or Promontory, UT facilities. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Play a crucial role in the process of annual budgets development as well as maintain the process through monthly and annual reporting, including but not limited to, variance analysis and other financial reporting and cost monitoring responsibilities * Play a crucial role in preparation of, and negotiation support for, incurred cost claims and incurred cost adjustments for final incurred cost submissions, including but not limited to, performing monthly and annual data scrubs, information sweeps, completing incurred cost schedules and submission packages, preparing and supporting business unit and division personnel for negotiations with Government representatives * Maintain company common Rates and Budget systems and develop monthly and annual rates forecast in the systems * Develop, coach, and provide training to the budget analysts for the Rates and Budget systems * Support the leadership team with ad hoc requests * Support financial and SOX audits by internal, external, and Government auditors * Provide strong support of professional teaming in this high-complexity, high-visibility role Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, with 6+ years of related experience - OR - Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience * An additional four years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree * Experience using MS Office applications including Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications: * MBA * Knowledge and experience with Federal Accounting Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) * Project costing systems, and multiple overhead rates experience * Cognos TM1, Cognos Reports and Costpoint experience * Defense industry experience Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
