Life Cycle Engineering (LCE)* is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. We're an employee-focused team collaborating across departments, including Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Operations, Test & Integration and Production. Your responsibilities will include creating the optimal design in terms of Performance, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability per dollar invested. Conducting Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses, including Sneak Circuit Analyses. * Performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) * Interpreting data and analyzing results * Program-related work including participating in proposal writing and bid submissions * Mentoring junior engineers * Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Electrical Engineering degree preferred. Minimum 8 years of relevant Engineering experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position. * Experience with Reliability Engineering (including reliability analysis, failure investigations, and/or root cause/corrective action (RCCA)) * S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance *Knowledge of FMECA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) * Functional knowledge of statistics or using statistical packages for data analysis (e.g. Excel) * Electrical Engineering or Sneak Circuit Analysis experience * Active DoD Secret Clearance *Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
