This role will support our Communications Team, who is responsible for messaging strategy and well-managed processes for all Bank products, features, services and Marketing claims. Responsibilities : Manage the monthly monitoring of approved Marketing claims and share POV on needed updates to Legal and Marketing when necessaryLead the claims substantiation process by partnering closely with Legal, Product and Marketing intent owners to document and socialize supporting evidenceReview Marketing campaigns to ensure proper disclosure(s) are added and verify language accuracy by comparing to centralized disclosures docRegularly review creative creative re-approvals to ensure claims and disclosures are still accurate and approved for useLead audits of Marketing messaging & claims to ensure consistency of claims in market and manage action plan if changes are neededOperate effectively in an agile environment and effectively reconcile feedback from key stakeholders, including business leads, Legal and ComplianceStay plugged into industry Marketing trends and proactively share ideas on new ways to articulate claim language that will resonate with our target audienceDevelop and manage timeline for all deliverables, coordinate review cycles and production schedules with various internal teams, agencies and vendorsProblem solve with peers on other teams and communicate relevant updates to senior leaders Ideal candidate will have the following skills: Hands on experience developing Marketing messaging & claimsExposure to legal processes related to approving Marketing messaging & claimsSuccessful track record in facilitating alignment across matrixed or cross-functional teamsVery organized and able to self-manage details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining excellent and accurate workHighly effective communication skills with outstanding writing and verbal persuasion abilities Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of experience in Consumer Marketing, Communications, or Project ManagementAt least 5 years of experience executing Marketing Communications Campaigns Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial services Marketing At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $118,700 - $135,400 for Principal Associate, MarketingCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
