Overview: Surgery Center of Georgetown is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to fill the role of Pre Admission Testing Nurse at our brand-new ambulatory surgery center. The PAT nurse plays a crucial role in assessing patients before admission. If you are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and have experience in admissions processes, we welcome you to apply to this position. Responsibilities: - Conduct initial assessments of patients before admission to gather medical history and assess their healthcare needs. - Coordinate with physicians, schedulers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless admission process. - Educate patients and their families on pre-op instructions. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of assessments, care plans, and communication with other healthcare team members.
