You will support critical team functions including, operational crisis management, training and exercise program development and delivery, and well-managed program governance that can meet the challenges of second and third line partners as well as regulators. -As a Principal Associate for Capital One Enterprise Crisis Management, you will apply your leadership and analytical skills to directly support the company's several crisis management teams. You will act as a thought leader and trusted advisor working across the enterprise to identify opportunities and develop solutions for strengthening crisis practices to maintain and mature Capital One's ability to manage incidents and events.We are seeking dedicated, disciplined professionals who excel in a close-knit team environment. This person should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly. The ability to influence up is key to success in this position. This is an excellent opportunity to continue growing in the risk, governance and process fields and will provide great exposure to the broader Capital One organization. - -General Responsibilities: - Develop and leverage key relationships with stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across the enterprise Create and maintain formal process documentation that can withstand challenge, audit, and exam Excel at automation and/or risk-reduction of manual processes Conduct and facilitate planning efforts across crisis partners and teams Support training and exercise development and execution Support and lead ECM responses to incidents and events Participate in the development of a comprehensive annual strategy Collecting data and information, using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership and executives - Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution and risk mitigation activities - - Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions -Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience At least 2 years of experience in project or program management At least 2 years of experience engaging with operational controls or risk management frameworksPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 4+ years of crisis management, business continuity management, or a related discipline 4+ years of experience supporting internal stakeholders 1+ years of experience in fast-paced, highly-adaptive roles 1+ years of experience in facilitating and leading discussions across disciplines and all levels of seniority 1+ years of Google suite experience 1+ years of experience in controls development, controls management, and reporting activities Strong organization skills and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously Strong relationship building skills, customer focus and ability to collaborate across teams to deliver Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills to confidently interact with and lead meetings at all levels, including executives Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively respond to shifting priorities, demands and timelinesAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $134,100 - $153,000 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
