The Miami Township Police Department has an ongoing recruitment process and is accepting applications for the position of police officer. As part of the qualifying process, applicants must submit a resume and complete a PRE-APPLICANT CONTACT CARD form. The documents can be returned to the department, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, or sent to Officer Melissa Wahlert at XXXX@MiamiTwpOH.gov. Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license Must possess a valid Peace Officer certification issued by the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Council at the time of a conditional offer of employment The selection process is described in MIAMI TOWNSHIP DIRECTIVE 31.4 RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION - PROFESSIONAL AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS .
