Plant Manager Needed A local non-profit seeking a Full Time Plant Manager. The Plant Manager provides assistance to agency operations by coordinating production activities, supervising production employees, monitoring quality assurance and safety with production. This is a four day work week. High School Diploma or GED is required. Five years of manufacturing experience preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.EOE/F/M/D/Vrecblid gxi8bwwcmqbkh0l8jrqls3eppfrqyyESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES (but not limited to):Responsible for activities involved with Production. Tasks include:Receive, review and assign tasks based on customer orders received.Assigns tasks via Production Lead for employees to perform, based on the customer orders.Schedule employees based on workload.Maintain up-to-date log of employees' time in various operations and submit accurate payroll worksheet to Accounting for processing as scheduled.Coordinate shipments with Director of Logistics.Prepare/submit purchase order requisitions as required to meet customer needs.Maintain records of inventory counts to reconcile during physical inventory.Complete daily assembly reports for various areas of production and provide for submission into accounting software.Responsible for activities involved with Quality Assurance (QA). Tasks include:Ensure that employees adhere to production quality processes as outlined in the agency's Quality Assurance Manual by providing adequate training and education with reviews as necessary.Review and update QA Manual as needed, or on an annual basis.Coordinate submission of items for required quality testing as outlined in QA Manual.Responsible for activities involved with safety. Tasks include:Participate in agency's Safety Committee meetings as production facility representative. Report details of meetings back to Operations/Production personnel.Provide monthly training sessions for production employees covering various topics related to both general safety guidelines and production safety requirements.Identify and see that all safety violations or incidents are reported to Human Resources. Provide corrective action reports and follow-up to all incidents.Responsible for activities related to product inventory. Tasks include:Monitor inventory and supply stock levels and maintain minimum standards; submit purchase order requisitions as necessary.Participate in scheduled periodic physical inventory to reconcile physical inventory with records.Performs duties as outlined in PA Code 55, Chapter 2390 ? 2390.35. FLOOR SUPERVISOR.A floor supervisor shall be physically present with the clients when clients are present at the facility, excluding breaks, lunch times and before and after work hours.A floor supervisor shall be responsible for daily supervision of clients while clients are engaged in work activities.A floor supervisor shall meet one of the following qualifications:(1)Possess 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university.(2)Possess a high school diploma or a general education development certificate, and 1 year work experience in industry or rehabilitation.Other DutiesUse tact and diplomacy when dealing with fellow employees, vendors, customers and others.Answer the telephone, direct calls, and take messages.Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and works cooperatively with others to provide quality customer service.Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.Project a positive image and solve complex problems.PDN-9c7a6d92-1053-4ca0-9f32-8f87e28983f5
