The Judge Group is seeking a Plant Manager with Food manufacturing experience in the Ottawa, IL area.COMPENSATION: 140k to 165k plus bonusRELOCATION: Provided for the right candidateMUST HAVE: Bachelor's Degree (Engineering preferred but not required)MUST HAVE: Experience in food or chemical manufacturing (mixing and batching)RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversee all plant activities (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, Compliance, Capital Projects)- Ensure plant is running at maximum efficiency- Develop and manage manufacturing budgets (Labor, Materials, Overhead - capital budgets)- Maintain quality standards- Increase productivity and decrease costs- Conduct investigations into product loss during production- Implement new manufacturing technologies- Review scheduling of all production employees- Recruit and manage manufacturing personnel- Lead the continuous improvement efforts- Develop yearly budgets with VP Operations- Work closely with the Executive Team and key membersEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Bachelors degree - 7+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
