Primary Purpose of the Role The HR Manager provides functional support and guidance to all areas of Human Resources including but not limited to: recruitment and employment, payroll, employee relations, benefits, wellness, performance coaching, compensation management, employee engagement, and special projects Essential Job Duties * Responsible for the delivery of HR services * Administer hourly compensation plan in accordance with the site's approved Pay Scale. Make recommendations to the Corporate Benefits & Compensation team for strategic adjustments that may be necessary so the wage scale remains current and effective in attracting and retaining talent * Investigate all harassment/discrimination complaints & grievances, document findings * Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues * The need to continue to build a safe (physically, emotionally, DEIB) workplace culture where our employees and teams can thrive and drive business results could be emphasized. * Drive collaboration cross-functionally and across locations. * Ensure timely and consistent entry of hourly payroll and payroll data; prepare and process hourly payroll utilizing Dayforce HRIS system * Oversee hourly recruiting process including sourcing and interviewing; coordinate temporary staffing to support facility needs; work closely with management team to develop and implement staffing and retention plans and programs * Provide reports, analysis, action plans and documentation to corporate HR as required * Ensures consistency in application of policies and procedures and compliance with governmental regulations for facility. * Administer the annual Performance Review Timeline and Appraisal Workbook process. * Review current compensation grades and ranges to ensure consistency throughout the regions. * In partnership with EHS Manager oversee safety compliance for the Oconto plant. Required Skills and Abilities * Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to confront and manage conflict, knowing when to reconcile and when to be assertive. Confidentiality is a must. * Must have strong Microsoft Office suite skills * Needs clear understand of WI employment law * Bachelors Degree or other s pecialized training in HR functions required * Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources environment #LI-JP1 #HGISalary2920 Learn more about Hoffmaster's multiple locations !
