Brookings Health System is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team and be part of the Brookings Health System mission: To provide high quality, compassionate, personalized health care . Approximately 20 to 24 hours per week. This part time position maintains responsibility for ensuring medications are managed and administered according to state and federal regulations; Enhances patient care by educating patients and patient care providers while collaborating with Brookings Health System Staff; Evaluates and processes medication orders, monitors medication use, educates facility staff, interacts with physicians/clinicians, performs medication histories, performs discharge teaching, and completes consults on medication therapy. Maintains the highest level of customer service and confidentiality at all times. Scheduling includes a holiday and weekend rotation as well as taking call during the week if necessary. Requirements: Pharmacy degree required; South Dakota pharmacy license required Previous experience with fostering a team approach to problem solving and diagnosing issues required Hospital experience preferred Compensation: Starting at $50.86 per hour based on experience Job Posted by ApplicantPro
