Inova Health System is seeking a Pharmacist for a job in Fairfax, Virginia.Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pharmacist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Shift: flexible Employment Type: StaffInova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist - Critical Care to join the team.As a Pharmacist you will contribute to the quality and effective operation of the department. To help achieve our mission, you will ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Your ability to oversee all department activities pertaining to the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceutical preparations, in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and in compliance with the requirements of the Virginia Board of Pharmacy, is of vital importance. Participates in the performance appraisal of Pharmacy Support personnel.- Organizes and prioritizes work assignments. Ensures Pharmacy services are provided in a timely manner as evidenced by lack of complaints.Qualifications: Experience:- One (1) year working in a hospital as a Pharmacist.Education:- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.- PGY1/PGY2 critical care residency preferred.Certifications:- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.#LI-MF1Inova Job ID #657919.
