Responsibilities: • Present existing and prospective customers with individualized policy options, quote calculations, and educational materials to meet their needs• Facilitate sales by keeping accurate records of personal information of prospects and customers within insurance company databases• Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling• Deliver a high level of customer service when resolving billing, policy change, coverage, and claims issues• Check insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits to determine whether modifications are necessary Qualifications: • Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs; experience using agency management systems considered a plus• Experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines • Superb written and verbal communications skills required• Must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience working in the insurance industry• Goal-oriented sales approach and effective collaboration skills are needed Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 yearly About Company: The John Galt Insurance Agency has been providing exceptional customer service to the entire state of Florida for more than five decades.
