The role focuses on achieving substantial settlements for wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases. The ideal candidate will manage a significant caseload, provide exceptional client service, and collaborate across departments to ensure effective case management and resolution.Duties:Lead a team of attorneys and case managers in pursuing maximum settlements for personal injury cases.Manage a substantial caseload and oversee the work of Case Managers.Provide informative and compassionate client service throughout the pre-litigation process.Collaborate with departments including Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens.Communicate daily with clients to discuss legal strategies and treatment plans.Analyze case facts to establish liability and clear coverage issues.Requirements:2+ years of experience in Personal Injury law.Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to supervise and provide guidance to a team.Experience settling cases in the pre-litigation stage.Fluency in Spanish is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.Comprehensive understanding of Personal Injury law and pre-litigation processes.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.Exceptional client relationship management skills.Proficiency in negotiation techniques and settlement strategies.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Benefits OfferedAdditional compensation based on performance.Paid time off and paid holidays.Opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm.Team outings and sponsored events to foster camaraderie.Referral bonus program for employee referrals.Firm-paid Medical HMO with affordable upgrade options.Low-cost Dental and Vision plans.Paid Life and ADD insurance.401k retirement plan.FSA (Flexible Spending Account) for healthcare expenses.EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for additional support.Pet insurance coverage for eligible pets.
