Consolidated Human Resources is in need of a Payroll Specialist to assist in the weekly payroll processing and client services. Great leadership and high visibility Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Solid benefits package Payroll Specialist Job Duties: Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports for multi-state clients Understand proper taxation of benefits. Basic understanding of garnishment calculations and compliance. Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary, Bonuses, etc. Process manual checks as needed. Microsoft office suite knowledge Research issues and work with departments within the company to resolve any issues Respond to employees/client contacts inquiries and manage your email inbox. Special Projects as needed Payroll Specialist Skills/Qualifications: 6+ months of payroll experience PrismHR Experience is preferred FPC/CPP or willing to become Certified is preferred Degree is preferred, but not required Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a PLUS Strong Microsoft Office skills Solid critical thinking and attention to detail Superb communications skills required Intermediate spreadsheet knowledge a plus Schedule: 8:30 – 5pm EST Monday to Friday Hybrid - Park Ridge, NJ or Virtual Positions available About CHR Consolidated Human Resources (CHR) is a leader in helping businesses reduce the complexity, risk, andtime associated with managing their human capital.
