This position offers the flexibility to work from the Woodbury, Minnesota office or remotely, allowing you to engage in innovative projects alongside industry leaders in the field of intellectual property.Duties:Provide legal expertise in patent law, focusing on technology and innovations related to computer science.Conduct thorough patent searches and analyses to assess the viability of inventions.Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Collaborate with clients to understand their inventions and provide strategic advice on intellectual property matters.Stay updated on technological advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer networking, and more.Engage in client consultations to develop tailored patent strategies that align with business goals.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Experience or strong knowledge in areas including artificial intelligence, databases, operating systems, or digital design.USPTO registration is highly preferred; however, candidates without registration must have an eligible undergraduate degree.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.Certifications:Active USPTO registration preferred.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Benefits:A dynamic and inclusive work culture that promotes collaboration and innovation.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement in the evolving field of intellectual property law.Commitment to diversity and inclusion, fostering a supportive environment for all employees.
