The role involves utilizing patent prosecution experience to manage U.S. and international patent portfolios, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting due diligence investigations, and providing freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses.Job Duties:Collaborate with attorneys and clients in various industries, particularly the medical device sector.Utilize patent prosecution experience to build and manage U.S. and international patent portfolios.Work closely with team attorneys to identify solutions and opportunities for clients with diverse needs.Draft and prosecute patent applications.Conduct due diligence investigations.Perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing patent preparation and prosecution.Undergraduate degree in engineering.Strong academic credentials.Registration to practice before the USPTO.Technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or related fields preferred.Engineering and/or computer science degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution.Skills:Excellent writing and analytical skills.Proficiency in collaboration and communication.Attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving abilities.
