Description:

We're looking for a hygienist to join our growing team for Fridays and one Saturday a month! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Job seekers should have incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental services. Responsibilities: • Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment • Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment• Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease • Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur• Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records• Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to patients Qualifications: • Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene• Superb customer service and communication skills • Certified to perform CPR• 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist Compensation: $45 - $50 hourly About Company: Springs Dentistry has been in practice for over 40 years and is owned by Dr. John Lydiatt & Dr. Jessica Duru.
