Interventional Pain opening in VA_x000D_Located in Richmond, Virginia_x000D_Full-Time & Permanent_x000D x000D_This candidate will work in a procedure suite housed in a new, state-of-the-art facility in the Richmond area. Board eligibility/certification in anesthesiology or physiatry is required. _x000D x000D_This position will see non-surgical patients with pain complaints as well as pre and post-surgical patients. In addition, this position will require seeing non-interventional spine patients and other acute and subacute musculoskeletal patients. The successful candidate for this position is expected to work closely with spine surgeons and other physicians in the practice._x000D x000D_Procedures this provider would commonly perform include:_x000D x000D_Trigger point injections (medicine into the muscle)_x000D_Joint injections (often includes steroid component)_x000D_Nerve blocks _x000D_Epidural steroid injections (for nerve related pain)_x000D_Medial branch block and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) (for pain due to arthritis)_x000D_Kyphoplasty (for fractures of the vertebra)_x000D_Spinal cord stimulation (an advanced form of therapy when injections/medications/surgery have not provided relief)_x000D_ _x000D_Benefits include:_x000D x000D_ Competitive salary and benefit package offered. 2-year partnership track available._x000D_ 100% outpatient setting_x000D_ Professional, collegial environment in a physician owned/led independent practice _x000D_ Paid Time Off (PTO)_x000D_ Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits_x000D_ Generous 401(k) incentive plan_x000D x000D_Location: Richmond VA_x000D x000D_Richmond, the capital of Virginia, is among Americas oldest major cities.
