Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Swedish Medical Center. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.Responsibilities Oversee and direct the care of post-surgical/post-procedural patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the recovery process. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing the unique needs of each patient. Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a smooth transition to home or further care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.Requirements Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS & PALS Certifications. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience required.
