Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Packing Supervisor who will lead and supervise department employees to meet departmental and company goals while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will foster teamwork and create a positive and safe work environment that embodies a drive for success, a sense of ownership, and a passion for being the best. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, practice daily continual improvement, and help build a strong company culture. Responsibilities Set department goals and develop plans and methods to achieve those goals. Plan, organize, and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production. Ensure the proper start-up of each shift by checking all equipment to ensure it is set correctly and the department is ready to meet production goals. Perform daily walk-throughs to inspect all equipment, identify areas that require improvement, and schedule maintenance for all equipment to ensure proper upkeep. Develop and manage department budgets, control inventory, and ensure the availability of all necessary supplies, parts, tools, and equipment. Ensure all employees are properly trained in safe and efficient work methods and procedures, and follow all company and safety rules. Responsible for accuracy, maintaining an on-time distribution of all department files, records, reports, and forms. Maintain current knowledge of company policies, goals, and procedures, and communicate them consistently to all employees. Identify areas for improvement in costs, quality, safety, and production, and develop and implement improved methods and tracking. Maintain a positive, productive, and ethical work environment. Keep the Manager informed of daily operations. Perform any and all other job-related tasks toward achieving company goals and objectives. Requirements High school degree required; college degree preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in manufacturing and business operations; packaging background is a plus. Knowledge, Experience & Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing and business operations. A packaging background is a plus. Self-starter with the ability to work well and communicate with all levels of the organization. Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and formulate valid conclusions. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based products and computer skills. Ability to inspire a shared vision, delegate tasks, and build effective teams. Ability to function effectively under pressure.
