Terminal : 21043 County Rte 200, Watertown NY 13601We are an independent contractor for FedEx.We are looking to hire regular full-time drivers with work-related driving experience and a strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries from our Watertown, NY terminal. Schedule: Flexible Days & Weekends. Requirements, Driver must: Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record Have a minimum of 1 year of paid driving experience within the last three years. Pass a DOT physical. Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck. Must be willing to submit to a background check Have reliable transportation to and from work Be on time and ready to work each workday Be able to climb stairs Be able to work in all types of weather. Have a strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude Daily Duties include but are not limited to: Your vehicle must be always operated safely. Delivery and pick-up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routines perform up to 225 stops a day. Perform daily inspection of the vehicle including checking fluid levels Loading vehicles for deliveries and organizing daily loads. Work independently and as part of a team. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with the manager Accurately operate scanner/effectively track the delivery process Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickup is a must and critical to our integrity. Consistently deliver the entire route on time. Adhere to uniform and FedEx daily delivery standards. We are under contract to deliver packages under the FedEx umbrella.
