We are seeking talent to help lead Democrats up and down the ticket to victory in 2024. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and talented Deputy State IT Director to help manage IT in Pennsylvania, in concert with the PA State IT Director.This individual will report directly to and be an extension of the State IT Director in implementing strategic vision, ensuring efficient operations and providing optimal support and assistance to DNC and State Party employees in support of the Harris campaign and Democrats down the ticket. Frequent travel will be required for this role to support various locations based on business needs. Key Responsibilities & Expectations: Oversee device deployment and management for State staff, in concert with DNC’s national IT Team Maintain State DNC HQ Office infrastructure Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical hardware and/or software issues. Collaborate with departments in state to create functional processes and systems for relevant hardware and software Proactively forecasts necessary technology equipment purchases to support growth and expansion at the State HQ and field offices Preferred Skills & Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role. Strong technical implementation & troubleshooting background. Deep knowledge of software, hardware, networks, and other IT systems. Knowledge or experience in Information Security preferred. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have strong attention to detail Previous political campaign experience preferred. Willing to relocate to a battleground state Travel : The PA Deputy State IT Director position will require travel, which could be up to 25% of the time. Salary : The starting salary for the PA Deputy State IT Director position is $80,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position that may require work on weekends, and has an end date of November 15, 2024 . This is an exempt position.
