Advantage Point Group is look for an Owners Representative with Structural and Mechanical experience to oversee the construction contractors on site and ensure they are preforming their tasks in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner. As an Owners Rep (sometimes called Designated Rep or Client Rep) you are the liaison between engineering and construction contractors. Responsibilities You will oversee contractor’s performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner ensuring safety and compliance. The plants are under continuous improvement and change with multiple projects in progress throughout each year. The primary need is electrical and/or mechanical experience for various industrial construction projects. Our designated representative will possess electrical, mechanical, piping and/or process electrical experience. Candidate will NOT be the individual(s) performing the maintenance and physical labor but will observe skilled trades people who are performing these tasks. Projects: Construction includes removing floor plate replace beams that we know must be replace, have inspector to inspect existing beams and replace as needed, demo existing CMU wall, and install new metal studs with double sheetrock. Structural and mechanical experience required. Planned start date: 7/29/24.Planned end date: 9/9/24.Planned Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour days, weekend and holiday work required. NOTE ABOUT DURATION OF PROJECT : We have people who have turned short term jobs into long term jobs. Some of our people been with us for 10 to 25 years! True! Requirements 12 years previous industrial construction, chemical manufacturing plant, experience. Structural and mechanical experience required. Excellent communication skills. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment. OSHA 30, confined space and other safety certifications preferred. NO RECRUITING OR STAFFING AGENCIES PLEASE! Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate: $50-$60/hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications. A typical work week is 55-60 hours per week. Overtime is expected. Eligible for per diem if not a local candidate.
