Job Description In an Outside Pest Control Sales position, you will have a small daily route where you will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will also be actively canvasing neighborhoods for new opportunities to offer pest control services. You will be going into the neighborhoods of our current customers and the surrounding areas to help grow our customer base while growing your income! Our Outside Sales position will require you to actively clover leaf and prospect in the neighborhoods where our current customers live and thrive. After providing customers with the right solution, you will perform their initial service that same day if time permits. This position will require you to provide world-class pest control inspections and recommend services while actively selling year-round. This is a great entry-level position to help you build your skills in sales and customer-facing service. Saela is looking to continue growing and expanding our team while creating long-term opportunities for growth and advancement. Saela strongly believes in promoting from within and mentoring all employees to help them reach their career goals. Benefits Wage comparable to $60000 - $100000 + / year. Opportunities for commissions to increase each year. Guaranteed base pay for the first four months of employment. Paid time off and paid holidays. Once your training is completed, you will receive a company vehicle to take home along with being provided a fuel card while running a route. You will also be provided with a tablet and a company cell phone. What to Expect You will be treating approximately 4 homes per day. You will conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify pest infestations and devise appropriate treatment plans. You will communicate clearly with customers about the nature of infestations, treatment plans, preventative measures, and the services we offer. You will spend most of your time engaging with local homeowners in a friendly and informative manner, explaining the benefits of Saela's pest control services, addressing questions or concerns, communicating providing, and tailoring your approach and services to the individual needs of each potential client. You will have monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management team and your manager will work closely with you to ensure your success in reaching or exceeding your sales goals. You will occasionally be required to go to our warehouse located in Northglenn, CO for meetings, training, restocking of supplies, etc. Qualifications Required: Experience selling, ideally in an outside or door-to-door environment. Experience prospecting and upselling are a bonus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills. The ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and prioritize tasks are important to your success. If you have previous experience in pest control, whether in selling or servicing, that is a bonus. If you have prior experience selling/servicing in HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, face-to-face customer service, or other types of in-home technician experience, we strongly encourage you to apply. Requirements You must be 18 or over. You must have a current valid driver's license. You must be able to pass a criminal background check.
