Orthopaedic Surgeon Opening in Fargo, ND Seeking to retain the employment of a BC/BE Orthopaedic Surgeon to complement and build on our current team of 4 Board Certified, highly-respected Orthopaedists. JOB SPECIFICS - Great opportunity for a fellowship trained Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopaedic surgeon - General call is 1:5, keep up with the skills you learned in residency at a much lighter volume - Hospitalists onsite and available for admissions 24/7 - Strong referral base in an established practice - Full complement of ancillary services on site - Level II Trauma Center (one of six in the state) - Provide efficient inpatient and outpatient care by adjoined hospital and clinic under 1 roof - Young, professional, growing team - Great culture of team and camaraderie - Surgeons are supported by a team of non-surgical medical Orthopaedic specialists - Healthgrades 5-star recipient for Total Knee and Total Hip Replacement - Team consists of 1 medical Orthopaedic MD and 4 advanced practice clinicians to support the team in both clinic and OR APCs also take primary call - EMR: Epic with standard template from prior hand surgeon already setup - Support for newly trained candidates - Leadership opportunities - Trained Occupational Therapists onsite and available to make specialty splints BENEFITS: - Generous starting bonus - Competitive income guarantee - Potential for stipend during fellowship year - Comprehensive Benefit Package - Relocation package - Continuing Medical Education allowance - Professional dues - Malpractice provided COMMUNITY: - Fargo a progressive, mid-sized city with rapid population growth and ever-expanding opportunities - Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota - Fargo-Moorhead population: 180,000 - Regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 5 hospitals - North Dakota is a safe place to practice and a great place to raise a family - COVID numbers have been minimal and are expected to stay the course - Had minimal shutdown during the pandemic
