Position Overview:The primary responsibility of the Operator : Scheduling is to prepare the bi:weekly draft schedule for the Table Games department and once complete publish the schedule for their respective area. The Scheduling Operator is responsible for daily schedule updates and make appropriate adjustments based on call:outs and daily business needs. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities::Preparation of bi:weekly draft schedules for review and final published schedule based on events and local/in:house conventions.:Prepares final schedule daily to assign dealers to appropriate games based on the dealer's skills.:Adjust floor relief strings to ensure break coverage and maximize efficiency.:Manages Dealer requests for "early:out" to reduce labor levels as business slows.:Monitors Casino sick calls throughout shift and promptly send notifications to departments.:Assists with management and update of dealer game skills to ensure appropriate assignments.:Safety is an essential function of this job.: Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.:Performs other related duties as assigned. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Company Standards of Conduct All Venetian Palazzo Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Additional Duties and Responsibilities:Minimum Qualifications::21 years of age.:Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.:High School Diploma required (college degree preferred).:Strong computer skills and proficiency in business applications such as/ including Microsoft Excel(R), Microsoft Outlook(R), and other Microsoft Office(R) applications.:Ability to execute advanced scheduling concepts.:Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.:Prior experience with Virtual Roster (or other computerized scheduling software) preferred.:Prior experience in Gaming Operations preferred.:Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.:Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: Must be able to: :Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.:Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.:Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.:Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.:Work in a fast:paced and busy environment.:Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
