Grant County, an Equal Opportunity Employer, located in Elbow Lake is currently accepting applications for the position of a full-time Office Manager/Account Technician. Required qualifications include an Associates/Technical degree with coursework in accounting, business, or related filed and considerable experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The position, under supervision of the County Engineer, performs skilled administrative support work administering department payroll and budget reporting. Prepares monthly financial budget expenditure information, aids the Highway Engineer with assorted tasks, completing forms and spreadsheets, managing miscellaneous financial information, assists with payroll budgeting and monitoring Highway website. Prepares invoices for accounts receivable. Prints out all invoices and reports associated with account receivable. Enters and runs monthly adjustment reports for miscellaneous charges. Reconciles and summarizes all cash receipts collected including preparing deposits and coding receipts to proper accounts. First point of contact for as public visit the Highway Department. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform this jobThe Office Manager/Accounting Technician is a full-time, non-exempt, union position. The salary range for this position is $26.28-$36.39 per hour. Beginning wage will depend on training and experience. Health insurance is offered with an employer contribution of up to $1600/month.
