Relocation Assistance (based on eligibility) Occ Summary Perform a variety of nonprofessional nursi ngphysician and nurses with physical examinations by helpingposition pat ients, changing non-sterile dressing and weighing patients.Take and reco rdN/Aduties in the direct careof patients under the direct su pervision of anRN/LPN. Work Performed Prepare patient s, equipment anmination;provide such additional care as required to meet the personal nd supplies for specific procedures andprovide manual assi stance as requig,assisting withambulation, enemas, skin care, and bowel and bladder eliingRN/LPN of information collected.Administer treatment a nd personal care procedures to patients including,but not limited to, fe eding, bathing,shaving, changing clothing,cleaning and trimming fingerna ils, bed-makinbyreinforcing teaching instructed byRN and/or physician as needed.Assisteeds andcomfort of assigned patients.Participate in teachi ng activitiesvital signs, record I&O, apply ice bags, administerdouches and enemas.Note and report any changes in patient's condition.Turn and p osition patieoral/nasogastric feeding and urinarycatherizations/irrigati on.Perform otriatetraining.Assist with admission, discharge, and transpo rtation ofpatns.Clean assigned area;stock and replenish supplies and eq uipment asreqdskills validation and attending educational offerings. Sup port thedevelasrequired.Collect, deliver and conduct routine tests on pa tient specimeuired.Participate in own professional development by maintaining requireopment of other staff and formal learners.May also perform sterile dressients.Follow standard precautions and use personal protecti ve equipmenther related duties incidental to work described herein. High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience N/A Degrees, Licensures, Certifications Currently listed as a Nursing Assistant I (NA I) with the Division of Facility Services with no substantiated findings of abuse, fraud, neglect or misappropriation of property. BCLS certification must be maintained/completed by the end of new hire orientation, which typically takesplace during the first week of employment.
