Locum Emergency Medicine NP or PA needed starting as soon as credentialed near Midland, TX. JOB DETAILS: Date s of Coverage: 8/1, 8/4, 8/11, 8/12, 8/19-8/21 Shift Hours: 11a-11p Practice Setting: ER Number of ED Physicians in Group: Single physician coverage 6-6 12-hour max shift length for MDs Fast Track in ED Percent (%) of Total ED Volume Treated by Fast Track: 2-3 BEDS Average Number of Patients Per Day: 30-34 in a 12-hour split between MD/APP on shift Documentation System/EMR: Meditech Trauma Level/Designation: 3 ED Staff Responds to House Codes Deliveries Received in ED and Sent Directly to Labor & Delivery ED Responsible for Monitoring/Supervising Paramedics/Ambulance by Radio APP will be supervised by a present Physician during assignment 24-Hour Availability for Radiology (CT, MRI, X-Ray), Laboratory, & Anesthesia Blood Bank - Certified by AABB Surgical Services: CT, Neuro, Vascular, Ortho Description of Consultants: Radiologist, Pulmonologist, Neurologist Requirements: 1000 Hours of ER experience within the last 2 years, Active TX License & DEA. Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days. $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
