Summary: Paid Student Nurse Externship at St. Mary's HospitalOur student nurse extern program provides the opportunity to gain supervised, hands-on working experience while still in nursing school. Nurse externs gain valuable experience to help them prepare for careers as members of the medical community tasked with providing high-quality care to patients. -Nurse Externship Program Overview: - -Nurse Extern I: Candidate MUST be actively enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program AND Candidate MUST successfully completed at least one medical-surgical clinical rotation before Nurse Extern I offer can be extended. Nurse Extern I's Performs or assists with patient care utilizing the nursing process under the supervision of a registered nurse preceptor.
