Position Overview ATD Technology, LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine, excellent technical skills, and a passion for patient care. You will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing imaging procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. Cutting-edge technology and resources. Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Radiopharmaceuticals: Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to the supervising physician. Imaging Procedures: Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and other specialized scans. Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning. Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and radiopharmaceutical usage. Follow protocols for quality control and radiation safety. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning. Continual Learning: Stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and techniques. Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities. Qualifications Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field. Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine. Experience: Minimum of [Specify Number] years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Experience with PET, SPECT, and other nuclear medicine imaging modalities.
