The East Alabama Health (EAH) system is located in one of the fastest-growing counties in the state of Alabama. The beautiful Auburn-Opelika area is located 90 minutes from the Atlanta airport, two hours from Birmingham, and less than four hours from many Gulf Coast beaches. It is also home to a diverse, well-connected community with outstanding school systems as well as a vibrant food and entertainment industry. Auburn-Opelika is the second largest area of growth in the state of Alabama, behind only Huntsville.To keep up with the growing need of care in the area, we have expanded our facilities multiple times. In 2019, we grew our oncology program significantly with the opening of the Spencer Cancer Center, a $40 million development. In 2021, we opened the Auburn Medical Pavilion in the Auburn University Research Park. The Pavilion houses the East Alabama Medical Center Freestanding Emergency Department, outpatient lab and radiology services, an ambulatory surgery center and a specialized Breast Health Center. Additionally, in 2021, with financial support from the community through our EAMC Foundation, an 11-bed, level III NICU opened at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika to serve the growing patient demand for infant services in the area.East Alabama Health is Alabama s destination for high-quality care and is committed to facilitating the best possible outcomes for each of our patients. We have shaped the healthcare landscape with innovation, personalized care, and integrated comprehensive services to treat the most challenging conditions. Nocturnist Position: Flexible schedule 300K range with chance for RVU Bonus Private self governing group Full-time APP support Opportunities for procedures and resident teaching but not required. Hospital is located in a SEC college town with ideal location. Three hours to beaches, three hours to mountains, 30 minutes from large recreational lakes, and an hour away from large international airport. Excellent schools and outdoor activities.
