Simplex Wellness is a committed team of fitness and wellness professionals who have a passion for helping people get healthier through a combination of exercise, nutrition and wellness. We are actively hiring for a part-time gym closer for our managed fitness centers located in and around King of Prussia, PA. This position will require you greet members, tour new members, offer fitness equipment orientations, light cleaning and provide member services as needed. The ideal candidate is able to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons no later than 9pm. Must have weekend availability as well. Wage: $14-$16 per hour depending on credentials.Fitness or recreation experience a plus, but not required.As a fitness attendant you can expect a typical day to consist of: Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed Regular, consistent cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment Promptly address maintenance and facility concerns such as broken and/or missing equipment Continual standing and moving throughout the center to accomplish tasks during shift Continual communicating with your onsite manager as needed Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities Moving self in different positions, including bending and twisting, to accomplish tasks Personal Training certification is a plus but not necessary. All Personal Training certified applicants will receive additional commission on sessions held during their shifts.
