Pittsfield Public Schools is seeking an Information Technology and Cybersecurity CTE Teacher.The teacher is the district's primary agent for instruction with responsibility for presenting the prescribed curriculum effectively and employing a diagnostic/prescriptive approach to identification and subsequent adaptation to the needs and interests of the students.The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to: - maintaining up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content - planning and assessment of instruction and curriculum - maintaining classroom management - planning and delivering effective instruction - promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement - communicating with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students - promoting equity and appreciation of diversityQualifications: MA DESE Certification in Voc Tech Teacher: Information Technology Services Cluster, Information Support and Services and Networking 9-14. Four years of full-time employment experience directly related to information support services and networking. Passing score on written and performance tests in information support services and networking; achieve a passing score on the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test (VTLST).
