ERP Implementation Consultant Location : Sacramento, CA (Remote) Salary : $90-170k Sabot is seeking an experienced and qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive ERP Implementation Readiness Assessment for an upcoming Enterprise Financial System (EFS) project. This role involves evaluating the current state of the organization’s infrastructure, data environments, and readiness for change to ensure a successful EFS implementation. Responsibilities: Develop and manage a detailed project plan and schedule. Facilitate a kickoff meeting with key stakeholders. Prepare and deliver regular status reports. Participate in quality assurance peer reviews of business requirements, technical specifications, test documentation, and code. Resolve incidents and data change requests. Analyze, extract, and deliver information requests. Implement small to medium-sized system enhancements. Perform data cleansing, interfacing, and data conversion between the current and new pension systems. Conduct structured interviews and data collection with stakeholders. Review existing project management documentation and identify gaps. Evaluate current infrastructure, data profiles, and integration capabilities. Assess change management strategies and readiness. Define key success factors for project implementation. Develop strategies for data migration, integration, and change management. Collaborate with the State’s Organizational Change Manager to coordinate resources. Consolidate findings into a comprehensive implementation plan. Present an executive summary of the implementation strategy. Must Have: Proven experience in conducting readiness assessments and developing strategic plans for large-scale IT projects. Experience with public sector organizations, particularly in financial system modernization. Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Nice to have: Experience with ERP implementations in a government setting. Familiarity with State or Federal compliance and procurement processes.
