Description:
Skills: Physical Requirements: Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation. Frequently may be required to stretch, bend twist, squat or kneel in the daily operation of the MRI department. May be exposed to various physical conditions throughout the day such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, being near moving equipment. Required to use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation. Education: Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligible program required. ARRT (MR) required. BLS (AHA or ARC) required. Languages: English Read Write Speak Skills: Required Scanner MRI Patient Monitoring ARRT Scanning Additional Infection Control Climbing Infectious Disease Sterile Laboratory Patient care Safety standards Radiology Ordering Nuclear medicine Lockout/tagout Radiation safety Certification/Licensure/Experience Requirements: ARRT, BLS Required.
