The ideal candidate should be committed to delivering exceptional client service, possessing a Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related discipline, and must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.Duties:Draft and prosecute patent applications in biotechnology and life sciences fields.Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.Evaluate and analyze patent portfolios.Perform due diligence investigations and IP-related transactional work.Advise clients on IP strategies and portfolio management.Conduct patent landscape analyses and competitive intelligence.Requirements:Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related discipline.Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.3-8 years of relevant experience in a law firm environment.Strong technical knowledge and experience in biotechnology and life sciences.Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Familiarity with patent portfolio management and due diligence investigations.Excellent academic credentials and a strong publication record.Outstanding organizational and communication skills (both written and oral).Leadership skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.Education and Certifications:Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related discipline.Admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.Skills:Proficiency in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
