This role involves providing specialized legal counsel in transactional tax matters. Below are the detailed job responsibilities, requirements, and qualifications:Job Overview:The Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate Attorney will provide legal advice and support on various transactional tax issues, including fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate transactions, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.Ensure timely and accurate completion of work products.Meet deadlines and expectations while adhering to firm policies and practices.Foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, digital conference calls, and meetings as required.Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:Minimum of 2+ years of transactional tax experience, including fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.Experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC background preferred.Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.Good business judgment and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficient in legal research and problem-solving.Demonstrated conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.JD degree from an accredited law school.Bar admission in New York State.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Bar admission in New York State.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills.Attention to detail.Good business judgment.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Research and problem-solving skills.Conceptual thinking.Ability to influence others.Persuasive communication.Management skills.Job Location:New York City, NYBenefits:The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
