Practice Area: Corporate - Technology Transactions, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Palo Alto is seeking a Mid-Level Technology Transactions Associate Attorney to support the team on a broad range of transactions, including MA support, and provide experience drafting varied commercial and technology agreements. This role offers exposure to a wide range of industries and supports deals firm-wide, with close mentoring by senior-level attorneys and partners. Outstanding academic credentials and a technical degree are required, along with technology transactions experience. Additional experience in life sciences transactions and patent law is preferred. Duties:Support the team on a variety of transactions, including MA support and drafting commercial and technology agreements.Conduct due diligence and research related to technology transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including licensing agreements, software agreements, and technology transfer agreements.Provide legal advice and support to clients on technology-related matters.Collaborate with senior-level attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Mentor junior associates and provide guidance on legal matters and career development. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.Should have 3-5 years of experience in technology transactions.Outstanding academic credentials.Technical degree in a relevant field.Experience drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements.Knowledge of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements.Strong understanding of technology transactions and intellectual property law.Ability to analyze and interpret complex legal issues related to technology.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to excellence and client service.
